I use 3 PCs at different places. This 8052 site uses cookies to mark the messages which have been read. The posts/replies which I have already seen, can obviously not be marked on my other PC.

If there is a column for serial number for all posts/replies under a thread, then it would be quite easy for some one to remember, upto which serial number he has already seen.

For example, if serial numbers are there, your reply is first and will get No.1, and so on.

There seems a bug with browsers also ( or I don't know how to configure them).
For example, if I open three threds each in new window, (and 5 threads contain new replies) then if I reload the main page, the browser marks all 5 thread as being read.
