The 8255 have separate adress and data.
You need an 74xx373 or better an 74cc573 to demux the buses. You need a decoding logic too. (i.e. an 74xx138) Then connect adress to adress, data to data RD- to RD- and WR- to WR- After reset all lines are configured as inputs. You can select diferent modes to select the function and direction of the lines. You can't select bit per bit input or output. You must do it for all 8 bits of port A and B and port C in nibles of 4 bits. Regards. |
