32k or 128k makes it easy to see which of your two cases it is.
write 0xa5 to address 1000h (no decode test) write 0x5a t0 addtess 9000h read 9000h, if it read 0x5a you have the 128k version. for surety, repeat the test with another value such as 0x5a. |
