Hi Srikanth,
there are many nice LED drivers. E.g. the MAX7219 (Farnell-No.: 483-217), which need only 3 wire to your micro and can drive up to 8 digits. But the nicest device I found on the TSM6755 (Farnell-No.: 325-041). Its a complete 4 digit display including the driver circuit and need only 2 wire to the micro. For 8 digits you can cascade 2 of it on the same 2 wire. I can give you software for both devices. Peter |
