Hello, Everybody:

There are totally 4 serial ports on my board. I don't want to assign a port for LCD, What I want to do is
When system power up, it will scan all the serial ports and get where LCD is and then send the data to it..

If LCD contains a device ID, it will be easy, I send the command to LCD and read back the device ID.. But there is no Device ID for this kind of LCD display..

Any body has idea? If I also have anthor device, like printer... How can I do it?
