Hi Miguel,
There doesn't seem to be a problem with your pin connections. A CF card in True ATA/IDE mode has the same connections as a Hard Disk and the same protocol. I am not 100% sure about timing but there shouldn't be a problem with that. Which command are you using to read a sector? Valid command commands are 20h or 21h. Try both of them. I suppose you have already downloaded the CF card manuals from http://www.compactflash.org Please make sure that pin 9 of CF card is indeed in GND. This will force the CF card to work in True ATA/IDE mode. I would also suggest connecting a LED on the /DASP pin to see if writing operations take place. Have fun... Panos Kenterlis |
