I doubt you'll read this as this subject folders starting to get old and will soon be disappearing off the bottom of the first page list!!

I agree with you that the 8255 is the work of saitan and I would never use one in a design ever!

Also, basing a final design on that of a development board is a bad idea, but it does not mean we shouldn't take some of the methods used to do things on them into consideration. I just wanted to look at one to see how they're arranged. Obviously it wouldn't exactly be a very taxing process to just guess if you were designing one you're self (which I'm thinking of doing just save my self a lot of hassle when I'm developing general routines), I was just curious.

Anyway, if you do read this, you will have probably already have read my new subject. I'd be interested on what you have to say about it.
