#27123 - Control of stepping motor velocity |
Hi people !
I have been trying to control stepping motors with acceleration. The idea is to develop a low cost system with basic funtionality. I am testing timers, in mode 1, but as far as I change the timer count value I have got funny things. My timer rutine is just performimg a pulse at the port. If I load at the TLH1 register the value of 40000 I get 3,87 kHz, for 39900 I get 76.9 kHz. This case is for a Dallas 87C520 with a crystal of 12 MHz. The same behaviour happened to me before with the 80c32, and the 89c52. Does anyone have any idea of this?, perhaps is so obvious but I do not see the problem. Thanks Hiram |
