Hi Kurek,
Remember that if you're using accessing the port pins this way you are NOT going through the UART, but going directly to the port pins. Also remember that if you are trying to still use the UART, writing a 0 to TX will prevent the UART from transmitting. This is bit-bashing, so you'll have to do all the work...and hence you are not limited to the TX/RX pins, you can do this with any port pin(s) you choose. Dennis |
