There is no ASCII code for NUM LOCK or CAPS LOCK; ASCII uses distinct codes for uppercase & lowercase letters. PC Keyboard scan code bear no relation whatsoever to ASCII codes. A recent edition of Electronics & Wireless World had a very good description of the PC keyboard operation (but the code example was for a PIC). |
