#27231 - RE: moving average |
Hello Peter Danneggerm,
It really is nice to see someone to explain such a complicated subject. I recently had a problem which the input would be rock solid (on analog voltage meters) but the data collector (device description can be found at http://members.aol.com/TemperatureToys/tei.html) I built would show the results varying. This is really irritating when you know that really isn't what is happening to the data being sampled. I wound up just increasing the limits to 150 milli volts. This made the results look more solid but it still was not acceptable to me. Oh well you just move on until someone like you comes along to show the rest of us how it really should be done. Thanks, Charles Bannister |
