How do you configure the A to D conversion cycle in the ADuC812? I know you have to use the ADCCON SFR's but my question is how do you start the convert start trigger input? ADCCON1 bit 1 is a timer 2 conversion bit wich is set to use the timer 2 overflow bit as the ADC convert start trigger input but the ADCCON2 SFR has the single conversion bit (SCONV) and the continuous converion bit (CCONV) that are used to initiate conversions. I am just wondering if you have to still use the timer 2 overflow bit to initiate the ADC converion cycle and the ADCCON2 bits tell it what conversion mode to use, single or continuous.
I want to configure the conversion modes to be initiated in software not by using an external pin.
