In this age while everything is done thru state of the art technology, telephone protocols are still in the "Bell" age.

No improvement at all.

I feel so because I have been thru a lot of pain in finishing with my autodialer project.

To detect "correctly" busy or ring is hell of a job in code.

why don't they just transmit a simple signal like in CLI, to tell the caller that what's happening, is it busy or bell.....


Telephone Exchange needs to be redefined and redesigned.
