Dear Eric,

I am using the 5V regualted supply for my 8051 mother board. This is the maximum voltage that should appear on this board.

I am just putting the fuse in the mains 220V AC supply line. I am not providing any protection at the 5V DC Level.

Please suggest me if any fuse or fast switching diodes should be placed on the 5V DC supply to the motherboard and how.
