#2763 - Clock generation using mc 89c52
Friends,
i think the problem that i put before regarding the clock generation
was not clear. let me be more presise.
1. I have an ADC 0808. this adc requires a clock of 10Khz to 1Mhz TTL compatable. my software program using 89c52 mc has to generate a continuous clock pulse that can be given to the adc. The clock pulse generation should not affect the program i.e the program should run doing diffrent jobs at the same time and any one of the port pin or a timer should generate a clock pulse.
I heard that an internal clock pulse of 1Mhz can be generated using the mc itself?
Well if we can generate the clock pulse using the microcontroller [ mc] itself then why should we think of an crystal oscillator or a PLL.
thanks in advance
