I thought it was interesting that out of the 10 winners, only one was from the United States. Is that representative of the membership demographics?

I thought that was interesting, too. I stopped having the website resolve IP addresses to country-level domains in December to increase the speed of the site so I can't say where all the hits came from this month. Back in December 2001 it appears that about 35-40% of traffic was from the U.S. No other country amounted to more than 4% of the traffic, but together they amounted to around 60%.

I don't think 1 U.S. winner out of 10 is representative of 8052.com traffic. But, hey, at least no-one can accuse the website or myself of favoring my fellow citizens. :)

I might turn on IP resolution again in September to get an updated idea of our demographics.
