I would only "play" if no other informations available.
But the better method was always to follow the data sheet and the application notes.


I use also UART and SPI and I have no problems detected. It was successful from the beginning, since I read the documents prior writing the code.


And I'm willing to help, if you detect a different working as in the documents.
