From what he has said, I think Alexandre needs a 'true' RTC; one that keeps its date and time even when power is removed. This can be done with a standard 80C51 device, but it is not easy and it will consume much more power than a dedicated RTC. As far as I know, the only 8051 derivative with on-board RTC that can be plugged into a standard 40-pin socket is the DS5000T. Mach spass, Rob. |
