#28386 - RE: What ADC to use? |
Hi Dennis,
I think we need some more information first. What is the range of temperatures/pressures you need to measure? What is the desired resolution/accuracy for these measurements? Your speed requirements (~100 samples/sec) can be met easily by lots of ADCs. Given the environment in which your system wil 'live', I think a serial interface is to be preferred. There are, of course, 8051 derivatives available with built-in ADC and multiplexer. These would probably be even better suited. Groeten, Rob Klein. |
