Hi Yavar
you need a very simple programmer to start off quickly.
You can use the STK200 programmer for in-circuit programming which is nothing but 1 ic 74ls244 connected to the parallel port of the pc.
You can download the Pony programer software for free or the ic-prog software.
You can find STK200 programmer schematics at supported programmers
