That's the North American Security Industry Association.

As I said before, there are probably standards, approvals, conventions, "Best Practice", etc, etc which will depend upon your territory.
That's not to says that information from the SIA is worthless outside the USA, just that you need to bear in mind that things may be different - maybe subtly, maybe significantly - where you are.
