Hi
I tried to initialize the HD44780 based LCD according to the data sheet and i didn't get reliable solution.
So I searched the web and found LCD PAGE, I used the initialization routine from there and my LCD works first time now. I didn't bother to check what i was doing wrong.
I wrote LCD module and I just include it with all my projects requiring LCDs and everything works first time now.
