I have developed a small Ucontroller based system which is intended to regulate temperature at specified points. the microcontroller accepts set temp. points from the push button input and display in the multiplexed dynamic 7-segment display. the temp. sensor provides data via the A/D converter. I have tried to read the status of set points and current temp. as well as specify the set temp. points from computer using serial communication.
I have used serial com interrupt vector as well as a subrutine for serial com in Ucontroller side and VB in computer side.
The problem I faced is that the serial communication does not respond. when the subroutine and serial com interrupt vector are separately programmed, the communication is established. What are the possible reasons for not responding serial com in combined program?
