Hi All,
I'm new to the site but not to the 5051etc. I have been using Crash Barrier/Metai EM3 and E5 in-circuit emulators and associated development software suite for the past 10 years and am looking for a 'way out'. I would like to migrate to another emulator because Andy Green - the Crash Barrier guru - has disappeared from the face of the Earth - so no support. The problem is that my development 'system' is based around the Metai software (CBE Editor, Assembler and other De-bug tools). Changing that strategy would require more effort than I'm prepared to give. Does anyone know of an alternative emulator (just basically a PROM emulator with hard/soft break capability) that might replace the E5? Alternatively, are there any users of the Metai system out there. The sources for the 'C' based debug tool - E5.exe (long promised by Andy when he decided to quit) would be a real gem.
