"To make the design-in process as easy as possible for its customers, SMSC offers a wide variety of support tools, including sample BIOS, diagnostics programs, sample schematics and PCB layout files, driver programs, industry standard specifications and other documentation. Many of these are available for downloading directly by your web browser."
