isn't feasible to your design reset the SP from time to time? I have a program that sometimes could overflow the SP, but I couldn't find exactly where I had done a mistake and correct that behaviour, so during the execution of the code I reinitilize the SP...

It isn't ellegant, but will work until I can figure where I did a bad coding (besides that :-) .
