I used e2prom in my design was getting corrupted on noise, write protect was gnd.
Experimented connecting reset pin to write protect corruption rate was as it was. (reset was RC). Used comparator reset ckt for reset, corruption reduced dramatically but was not nil. Used port pin with software control for rd/wr operation with comparator reset to processor, the problem is still nil, with mixer grinder and contactor of 20amp for generating noise. But write protect should go low only after selftimed write cycle of 5-10ms is over in case of atmel only but not with ST, microchip not tried. This test were carried out on both at89c52 & ph89c52.
Can anybody more highlight on this subject & share practical experience.
