Logic probe is small digital instrument like a pen, used to check the logic(Hi or Lo) at the different stages in any digital board. Hi means 5V and Lo means 0V according to the TTL levels. This may give small indication on your probe for Hi or Lo. I think this may also check negative logic also. That will depend on the logic probe you are using and its specs.
