#30109 - RE: For Andy Neil |
"and about your riffered sit http://developer.intel.com there i dont even get a reply nor the required data"
Had a quick look around: What about the Pentium 4 Processor Forum: http://intel.forums.liveworld.com/forum.jsp...p?forum=94 Or the IA-32 Processors page - which seems to cover all Pentium variants: http://cedar.intel.com/cgi-bin/i...atCode=BME You can download the lastest Borland C++ Compiler from http://www.borland.com/products/...ilder.html Note that this is the compiler only - no GUI, and definitely not the full C++ Builder RAD suite!! This is a native x86 Compiler, though I'm not sure if this version gives you completely PC-independent code? If you search around, I think you can still get the earlier version (about 3?) which definitely could produce PC-independent code suitable for embedded use. It's a long time since I did anything embedded with an x86 (8086, 8088, and 80186) - I have never done anything embedded with a 286 or higher, so I certainly can't help you with a Pentium! :-( |
