My application if for my gameboy camera, it puts out between 0 and 2v for black to white, I only want black or white, so I was going to use over 1v = white and less means black, thus converting the greyscale value to a black and white value.

So, what do you mean by "precision" is it that the voltage will not be exactly 1.16V or that the voltage will waver?
