I've got the IAR compiler, and it's every bit as expensive as Keil's. Your best bet is the Raisonance version. You can't really expect to be able to do any serious development work with the demonstration versions.

It's too bad the 8052 world isn't like the AVR world, where you have a number of real nice development suites in the $150-$200 range. (You can still get the $2700 one if you want though!)
