the transmitter ,as said earlier , is similar to an led, connect it in series with a 270 ohms or 330 ohms resistor.
the receiver-u can collect the details by entering the serial no. on the top of the receiver.(the sensor i am using is of the configuration -GND,Vcc,Output- when the buldging surface face to you)see this may not be the same for you. the sensor works with 5V
