I looked at the T89C51AC2 datasheet summary, and while it clearly mentions P1.0 as a T2 clock input, it doesn't say anything about a T2 clock OUTPUT. I wasn't able to locate a full datasheet for this part on the Atmel website to verify this one way or the other. Double check your datasheet, there has got to be an enable somewhere (T2CON would be where I'd look first) to make P1.0 an output, if indeed this is possible.
