#31484 - RE: Float Math Source |
I would like to send receive data in IEEE 32-bit single precision format. My current output number range is 0.0001 to 99999.9. Internally I work to a crude FP arrangement of 24-bits (hence the 1,000,000 count nominal maximum) and 3 decimal place positions viz: nn.nnnn to nnnnn.n. I have scrutinised the IEEE spec and understand it (just) but does anyone know of an assembler routine (NOT C) that would do the conversion so I needn't re-invent the wheel...
TIA, Dave |
