if chip itself fails onchip watchdog shall not serve the purpose while external can
What good will it do to reset a failed chip?. The watchdog is a software failure recovery device, not a hardware failure detector. The internal/external watchdog issue always get into a heated argument, Peter stated his, I stated mine, let us leave it there. Erik |
