The programmer you mentioned also has another web site with pretty much the same programmer. That address is http://batronix.com/electroni...ts-b.shtml. The circuit is easy to trouble shoot. I would recommend your use QBasic supplied with DOS or Windows 95. Write some simple programs which test each pin of the parallel port and measure the results with a voltmeter on your programmer. I have built the EPROM programmer and it works great. The thing has taken on a cult following that is applying it to areas never dreamed of some of which are 8051 related.
