If the 24 V source is a car battery, don't forget that the voltage might be considerable higher (about 30 V when the battery is charging and more than 100 V in short spikes). Maybe you should connect a power resistor between the +24V and the zener series.
But my advise is: forget the idea of connecting both devices in series. Alfredo del Rio. |
