Before trying to suggest anything or trying to help you it would help if you could tell us just how you intend to use the 24K memory.

Such as:
- Is it 24K bits or 24K bytes memory.
- Does it need to to be re-programmable
in circuit.
- Are you expecting this memory to be
code that the 8051 can execite.
- Is the RAM to be Data storage?

...etc. etc.
