#32149 - Using same external mem for prog & data |
Hi,
I'm pretty new to using microcontrollers so please bear with me! I was wonder... I have worked out how to connect external EEPROM up to a standard 8051 chip. Is it possible to use this memory (256kbits) for both program storage AND data storage or do I need to have them both on seperate chips? If so is there any tutorials etc that will explain how I would connect two chips up as I am obviously already using ports 0 and 2 for the external data memory. Would I need to use some sort of multiplexer or is there another route? Thanks in Advance Matthew Wolf |
