 		 #32181 - direct rs232
Hi,

Is it possible to connect two 8051 directly from their serial ports without using any level1 chip like max232?
I mean, the Tx`s to the other`s Rx`s with common GND.

My second question, I am after a ultra low leakage diod. Can I use easily available 1N4148 or 1N4001 for this intend?
