don't refer me a book
All smart people use good books to upgrade their knowledge. If you plan to be a professional you have to read so many books man.
The electronics bible recommended by my good old professors back at university was microelectronics by Jacob millman publisher McGrawhill .I still have it till now and i think no other book goes as deep in the field of electronics as this one does, all references in the book are taken from technical papers.
