Can anyone help me understand what space parity is exactly?
I am useing the ADuC812 and it uses the 7 bit ASCII code with space parity. I have only heard of odd/even or no parity. I don't understand what they mean by space or mark parity. I know what space and mark mean when sending data but what does it have to do with parity checking? I have tried to find some info on the net but keep coming up with nothing. Can someone help point me in the right direction.
