I think you need to go through the Tutorials on this website.

For serial communication, the 8052 must be programmed accordingly. You have to set baudrate, no of bits, parity, etc.

A few lines program in assembly would do the job. I can give you the code, but if you try to understand the 8051 UART, and write your own code, you will never forget it.
