#32872 - RE: serial data transmission errors |
hi folks,
sorry for the delay in replying. i was tied up with another project & did not have the time to experiment further. ok, serial transmission at 4800 bps has started working perfectly well with the 10 MHz & th1 = 246d. the f8s started after i started my board with a programmed flash instead of the in circuit emulator. i also added a 2 ms delay between bytes as recommended by Daniel as a safety measure. now i am running the board at 9600 bps with the same osc & th1 = 250d and all the other parameters as before. it is working beautifully. many thanks to Andy, Stephane, Michael, Erik & Daniel for helping me with this one :)) rgds Punit |
