#32891 - RE: Elektor SBC BASIC52
Hi Peter

Do you need the comlete set of articles about the board?
so mail to me and i'll have to collect them scan them and send them to you.
I got all elektor since 1982. I got the book about the board and 535 board but it is more than 300 pages.

Take care that R24 is a 8x10k resistor in some pics they did print 1k but then the board don't run.

by the way programming EPROM was a special of original 8052 AH BASIC and i don't belive it will work with Atmel chips.

But first you got to get the board running. Do you have a copy of the original EMON? If so use the selfcheck option as you say ALE is running it could guide you the way to get a running board. For the test you should use only IC 13 (8052 or your Atmel part) IC 8 (Adress latch) IC7 (Eprom) IC1-2-3 (3 Pcs 74HC00 or 74HCT00 all of the same type). So if no serial conection it will give some "beep" on serial out.

Don't worry you'll get it work.

Have fun

Peter
