Most of the reset / watchdog chips are open drain or open collector whcih obviously make then active low. I use a transistor with a couple of resistors as an inverter. Only adds about 15p to the cost - assuming you can afford the board space for 2 Rs and another TO92.
I use the Temic U5021M as a supply voltage monitor and watchdog for micro's with no built-in watchdog.
