#33236 - Simple 8052 O/S |
Just thinking about a couple of things people have said on recent messages, and was wondering wether other people use some kind of real time operating system in their embedded system,or do they tend to do as I do try to avoid the overhead involved. And at what point does it become worthwhile?Just wondering really as I always think that the overheads involved, such as increase in code size and processing time rarely make it worth while.Seems to me that calling functions such as malloc and free is going to produce some huge code(relativly speaking)
