I have the following question on the enable line, while adopting the multiplexing approach,

Suppose the number to be displayed is '12345'. I will be using 5 seven segment displays.

Once I have connected the 'a','b','c' etc segments of the seven segment display, the only controlling element for each seven segment display which is left is the Anode. ( Common Anode segment).

I presume that the Anode(Power) On / OFF will be the 'enable / disable ' control possible.

To achieve this do I have to trigger the enable through a relay? or in other words one relay per display?
