Delving deep into my long-term memory.....

- Make sure the real-time clock is running (CLOCK 1)
- Do something like:

Ts = TIME
DO : UNTIL TIME-Ts>=3

This will introduce a 3 second delay. Of course you could make it into a subroutine for flexibility.
