#33612 - Dallas DS89C420 clock source |
Specs that I have seen on an Epson TTL/CMOS crystal oscillator state a 40% - 60% duty cycle. I may drive 2 of the DS89C420. Could I experience any problems?
The Dallas specs also determine that only a fundamental mode crystal should be used for realization of proper execution speed. Needing a 32 MHz source, I have heard that crystals below 24 MHz are almost always fundamental. I may use the optional 2X onboard freq multiplier and a 16 MHz crystal. Am I assured most any over the counter 16 MHz crystal will be fundamental? Thanks |
